# JERP

> JERP is a fact-checking layer between an AI agent and its answer. Every answer comes back true, false, or not a fact, with a confidence score and a source; claims without a source are cut. The agent reads a short answer instead of whole websites, so it uses far fewer tokens. REST API and MCP. Free tier, no signup.

JERP does not replace Ahrefs, Semrush, or a live SERP. It checks the sites and claims an agent is already working with — sites you pass in, or sites found in the JERP open index. Every structured field can carry a confidence. It does not draft marketing copy and does not measure brand mentions in ChatGPT.

ChatGPT Free cannot add a custom MCP connector. ChatGPT Pro developer mode is read/fetch only — not enough for JERP tools. Full ChatGPT MCP needs Business, Enterprise, or Edu. Claude, Cursor, REST, and your own agent work on any ChatGPT plan.

- Free public `jerp_` key: one hour, 100 calls, 1 request/second — issue from the site Try Free in a browser. POST /key from curl or another origin returns 403
- Judgment calls: at most 24 sites
- `find` returns at most 96 cards
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer jerp_…` or MCP `?key=`
- MCP: streamable HTTP at https://getjerp.com/mcp (GET = catalog). Localhost is not reachable from Claude or ChatGPT.
